Forest School gives children the opportunity to learn, explore and develop confidence in a natural outdoor environment. Through hands-on activities such as den building, nature discovery, problem-solving and teamwork, children develop resilience, independence and creativity while strengthening their physical and emotional wellbeing. Regular Forest School sessions encourage curiosity and a love of learning, helping pupils build important life skills such as communication, risk assessment and collaboration. Being outdoors also supports mental health, promotes active lifestyles and helps children develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the natural world.
